Mustard Seed Cafe in Orwigsburg

Wasn't very busy when we were there but the service was very good. The food is awesome. You're in for a treat. It may be out of the way for a lot of people, but it's well worth the trip. One of the best restaurants in the county. I encourage you to be daring and order something you've always wanted to try but were afraid of being disappointed. You won't be disappointed. Jack has spent his life in the kitchen and knows good food.

This was my first experience here and I have to say the food was good but the service was appalling. Very curt, no eye contact, no personality. A simple acknowledgement would have gone a long way to make the experience worthwhile. I had no clue what was going on with my order because I wasn't even sure the server knew I spoke to her though she inquired. I was completely confused, and that led to attitude! End of story! Will find it hard to patronize this establishment in the future!

Food here is pretty good and by far my favorite place to get a chicken cheese steak!!! Love how its right in the center of town, within walking distance from my home!!

I really like the pizza and baked mozzarella is amazing. Not to mention everything else.

Great food, try the baked mozzarella. Don't forget to get a jar or two of their homemade tomato or marinara sauce for home.

They use really fresh ingredients for their pizza. They are so confident their sauce is so good that you can buy some to take home. Even driving home with a large pizza in my car, and i get home and take a bite of not so warm pizza, it's STILL the best pizza i EVER had! Its better when its just pulled from the oven, but if you let it sit and it cools down a bit, I can still taste the delicious sauce in the pizza! And that's what sold me to this place to begin with, was the tomato sauce they use for the pizza.

This is an amazing little place. The food, the atmosphere, and the service are just amazing. This is some of the best Italian fair i have ever had. Will be going again very soon.

Delicious crab stuffed shrimp!! Bruschetta was awesome, best I ever had!! My husband loved his crab stuffed flounder!!

The food is always good, but on July 1, 2020 we went there for the first time since the covid close. The waiter who name tag said Mariah brought the check which was $47, $20 over. She corrected it, but $47 compared to $27 seems suspicious.

The Mustard Seed Cafe features the best Italian food we've tried in the area, hands down! Homemade sauce, authentic dishes (i.e. scungili salad appetizer), and a great ambiance. Service can occasionally be a bit slow during peak times, otherwise fantastic. Two thumbs up!

Hometown Italian cooking . Such a friendly, comfortable environment. You feel like you are home in Grandma's kitchen . 💖

Another amazing dinner for 4 today. I love the marinara sauce so much that I bought a quart to it and a quart of tomato sauce for at home.

Best stromboli I have ever had!!! Freshest ingredients, the sweet peppers were so fresh and won me over with having fresh mushrooms... Amazingly friendly staff even though we came in a little over a half hour from closing they were very inviting and welcomed us in with huge smiles... I cant wait to come back and try the chicken parmigiana, chicken marsala and the stuffed flounder... I know I will not be disappointed in the slightest... definitely my new favorite place to eat... thank you sooo much for the Amazingly fresh food with exceptional taste and great atmosphere and great staff... will return very soon

Pizza is delicious. Their sauce is very authentic and tasty. Prices are fair also! The baked mozzarella is a must have as well as their Florentine pizza. Soooo good!!

Great chicken parmesan, big menu, fun atmosphere. We'll be back. Updated 3/8/20. Getting 🍕 this time. Everything coming out like great! The pizza didn't come out until the rest of the family was done eating. Also, the dough was not cooked long enough. Couldn't lift up the slice without all the cheese sliding off. -1 star.

My family and I have eaten there a half dozen times and it's been great every time. I really enjoy the cold sandwiches and the sunburst salad the most.

I guess I’ll stick with the pizza or a Stromboli next time, because the Alfredo I ordered tasted really terrible and the sauce wasn’t the texture I was expecting, it was gritty and chunky unlike a smooth creamy sauce I’m used too🤷🏼‍♀️ But I guess every place is different at least I know before I waste $14 again

My wife and I entered......the young girl at the counter pointed to seat ourselves. We patiently waited as another young waitress walked by us about 8 times and never said a word to us or acknowledged our existence. After 15-20 minutes, we left with no interaction from anyone. Lots of young people today just lack people skills.....I don’t blame the young waitresses....I blame management for not teaching how to interact with a customer. We won’t be returning.

The antipasto salad was a piece of art and thoroughly enjoyed it Great job!
